What is fedwire?
At Xapo Bank there are various ways in which you can receive funds.
While it is possible to receive third-party payments with BTC, USDT, USDC, EUR and GBP, it is not possible to send and receive third-party payments with US dollars. These are some considerations to take into account when sending funds to your Xapo Bank account.
For US dollar transfer through the ACH/FedWire networks we allow first party payments (payments from one individual to themselves) and business payments (salary, payroll, payouts for contract work, etc…). We don't allow third party payments (payments from one individual to another), though we hope to in the future.
We do accept third-party payments for BTC, USDT, USDC, EUR and GBP, however, we may require documentation to validate the source of the funds.
