Seamus is an experienced leader of international and complex organisations. Prior to joining Xapo Bank in 2017, his roles included Group Head of Liquidity and Funding Risk at Standard Chartered Bank, Chief Financial Officer of Equity Trading at Macquarie Group, Finance VP of Latin America Emerging Markets at Credit Suisse, and Senior Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen. He has an MBA from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.

Joey is considered one of the pioneers of regulation in the virtual currency and distributed ledger technology space. His previous roles include Consultant and Partner at ISOLAS LLP, Consultant at the United Nations, Non-Executive Director at IOV Labs, Advisor at Fiduciary Management Limited, and Chairman of the Gibraltar Funds & Investments Association. He is a Founding Member of thinkBLOCKtank and has a PGDL and BVC degree in Law from BPP Law School, and a BA from the University of Bristol.

Johann Olivera is a Partner at EY Gibraltar and licensed Insolvency Practitioner with over 26 years of experience in financial services. He leads EY’s audit quality and risk management in Gibraltar and has helped shape the territory’s regulatory frameworks for investments and cryptocurrency. His portfolio includes banks, fund managers, and multinational groups across Europe and the Caribbean. Johann serves on Gibraltar’s statutory audit committees and advises DLT firms on compliance and valuation. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Johann holds a degree in accountancy from Exeter University.

Anju is a VC investor and former banking executive at Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank. Her board experience includes Gulf International Bank, Upgrade Inc., Curve Inc., PIF, and Stanford University's Distinguished Careers Institute. She is a member of the FinTech guest faculty at Stanford GSB and the WEF Fintech Steering Committee. She has received numerous global industry awards, is an alumna of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, and is a Fulbright Fellow and Visiting Scholar at Stanford.

Melo is a Partner at ISOLAS LLP and leads the firm’s Financial Services and Private Client teams. A recognised authority in banking and finance, he advises the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and guides clients on collective investment schemes, funds, banks, and insurers. A former Commission member and past chairman of the Bar, Melo is also an international leader in private client law, specialising in trusts, wealth, tax, and estate planning. Legal 500 lists him in its Hall of Fame, describing him as “exceptional” and “mature, calm, and experienced.

Matthew is a seasoned financial leader, with extensive experience in international financial services and risk management. Prior to joining Xapo in 2024, Matthew held a series of executive leadership positions including Director of Product Control for the Asia-Pacific region at Barclays, before moving on to Treasury Director - a position he held for 6 years from 2014 until 2020. Matthew’s background also includes holding various senior roles at UBS, the Swiss multinational investment bank, and serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Vault Digital Funds in New Zealand.

Alex Capurro is an accomplished CEO and technology innovator with over two decades in fintech and software. As CEO of TTMS, he’s driving a digital transformation across Gibraltar’s financial sector, spearheading AI and automation initiatives that streamline compliance and enhance client services. Previously Chief Innovation Officer at Comercia Global Payments, Alex led pioneering AI projects, building advanced chatbots and no-code POCs using an advanced array of technologies. A published sci-fi author and indie game developer, he thrives at the intersection of creativity and tech. Known for strategic foresight and mentoring talent, Alex is passionate about shaping future-ready organisations.
