Some merchants implement measures that check whether the country that you are registered in matches the country where your bank is located (e.g. Spotify). Since Xapo is based in Gibraltar, the service might ask you to use a local bank card instead.
If the merchant supports PayPal, you could create an account there and link your Xapo Card to continue. Remember that, for subscription payments, you need to enable remote payments in the Xapo app or the transaction will fail.
