How do I prove my identity?

To verify your identity, we will ask you to take a photo of your international passport or national ID card***** and submit a real-time video of yourself. Here are some tips to ensure that the process goes smoothly:

Identity document scan

• Check that your passport has not expired.
• For best results, place your passport on a flat surface.
• Align the photo page of your passport with the frame displayed in the app.
• Make sure that the page is readable and nothing is covering it.
• If your passport contains a hologram, please tilt it slightly to display it.
• For best results do the scan under natural light

Liveness video

• Adjust your lighting for the best results.
• Remove glasses or headwear.

*Note : Not all jurisdictions are elegible for national ID card acceptance. Screenshots or photos of the document displayed on screens, or other ID documents are resident cards will not be accepted. We will only accept a scan of an original unexpired valid international passport or national ID card when applicable.
