What fees do I need to pay?
Fees are charged on every transaction.
When buying, there's only one transaction fee. It's currently at 1.00%, charged by Xapo Bank, to support the delivery of our service. The fee is rounded up to the nearest cent.
When you sell, the following fees apply:
1.00% Xapo Bank transaction fee, rounded up to the nearest cent.
The SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) fee is paid to the US Treasury to help offset the cost that the US government incurs when regulating the equities market. This fee is currently USD 0.000008 per share, with a minimum charge of USD 0.01 per trade.
The TAF (Trading Activity Fee) is one of the regulatory fees levied by FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) to cover the costs of supervising and regulating firms. This fee is currently USD 0.000145 per share, with a minimum of USD 0.01 and a maximum of USD 7.2 per trade.
