Summer Cashback

Explore how to maximise your travel rewards this season with exclusive, limited-time cashback on global taxi and ridesharing services, available to members with an active Metal card and delivered directly into your Bitcoin account.

From 1st July 2026, we're evolving our rewards programme. The general cashback on everyday card spend is being replaced with exclusive, targeted campaigns tailored to how our members actually live and travel. The first of these is a limited-time 3% cashback on taxi and ridesharing services for Metal cardholders.

Metal cardholders earn 3% cashback on all taxi and ridesharing services worldwide, including providers like Uber and Lyft. The offer runs from 1st July to 31st August 2026 and activates automatically. There's nothing you need to sign up for.

The offer is exclusively for Metal cardholders. As long as you hold an activated Metal card on your Xapo account, you qualify.

You can use either. For your security, we always recommend using Virtual cards for online spending. You'll qualify for the cashback regardless of which card type you use, as long as you have an activated Metal card on your account at the time of purchase.

Metal cards are currently free to order. Simply order a Metal card and activate it to qualify for the 3% taxi cashback offer and future Metal-exclusive perks.

The 3% taxi cashback runs until 31st August 2026. This is the first of several curated offers planned for Metal cardholders, with more to be announced in the future.

Cashback is paid into your BTC account on the 5th of each month. This payment covers all qualifying transactions that completed before the 5th. For example, if you make a qualifying transaction on 12 June, it will be paid on 5 July.

You can read the full terms and conditions for the Summer Cashback campaign at https://legal.xapobank.com/cards/supplemental-cashback. Campaign terms stay available for at least 60 days after a campaign ends, so you can refer back to them if you need to.
