There is no definitive list of what type of document we consider acceptable - it depends on the source of your funds. Please note that you do not need to translate documents that aren't in English.
Some examples of acceptable proof of Source of Funds:
Self-employment
Please provide one of these two types of documents:
A consultancy agreement
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- Your customer's name
- The role or service you provide
- The date of issue (no older than 12 months)
- All pages of the agreement
Your latest tax declaration
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- Your income
- The date of issue
Note: You do not need to submit the full declaration, only the pages showing the above information
Salary
You can submit one of these two types of documents:
A payslip
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- Your income
- Your employer's details
- The date of issue (within the last month)
Note: You will need to submit your most recent payslip
A recent bank statement
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- Your most recent salary payment with a clear reference
- The logo or name of the bank
- The date of issue (within the last month)
Savings/deposits
Please submit a bank statement that clearly displays:
- Your full name
- The account balance
- Six months' worth of transaction history
- The logo or name of the bank
- The date of issue (no older than three months)
Inheritance
Proof of funds for inheritance requires two documents:
Certificate of inheritance or grant of probate
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- The amount received
- The name of the issuer
- The date of issue (no older than five years)
The related bank statement
- It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- The amount received
- The logo or name of the bank
- The date of issue (no older than six months)
Property sale
In this case, you need to provide the following two documents:
Sale agreement
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- The date of issue (no older than 12 months)
- The signatures of the parties involved
The related bank statement
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- The amount received from the sale
- The logo or name of the bank
- The date of issue (no older than three months)
Sale of shares or investment
To prove that your funds come from the sale of shares/investments, please provide the following two documents:
An investment certificate
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- The number of shares sold
- The price of the shares
- The name of the company
- The date of issue (no older than 12 months)
The related bank statement
It must clearly display:
- Your full name
- The amount received
- The logo or name of the bank
- The date of issue (no older than six months)
Company profits/dividends
Please upload either of the following three documents:
