What are the fees for withdrawing cash from an ATM using your Xapo Bank card?
When withdrawing funds from an ATM*, there are two types of fees that may apply: one charged by the ATM operator and the other by Xapo Bank.
What is the fee charged by Xapo Bank for an ATM withdrawal?
Withdrawing cash from an ATM using your Xapo Bank card is free, up to a limit of 100 USD per month. Once this limit is exceeded, a fee equivalent to 2% of the withdrawal amount will be applied every time. This fee is charged to cover Xapo Bank’s related withdrawal costs and to make it a sustainable offering.
What other fees may apply for an ATM withdrawal?
ATM operators may charge at their choosing, an access fee for using their ATM machines. The ATM will usually show you a clear and transparent message containing the fee amount together with other relevant information, before finalizing the transaction. Please be aware that these ATM operator charges might be added towards your monthly withdrawal limit, as certain providers do not share a detailed breakdown of their fees with us
Please note that if your account balance is insufficient to cover both the withdrawal amount and the ATM cash withdrawal fees, the ATM withdrawal will be unsuccessful.
*The Xapo Card can be used globally, however, we cannot guarantee that a particular ATM will accept it.
