How do I change my Xapo card pin?

You have the ability to check and change your card PIN, all within the Xapo app, by following these steps:

Step 1 - Tap on Cards.

Step 2 - Tap on Security.

Step 3 - Tap on Pin management. On the next screen, you will be able to view your card PIN by tapping on Show PIN or Request PIN change If you want to change it.

Step 4 - If you opt to change your PIN, you will need to enter your new PIN twice to confirm it. Once the change is set, you will be prompted to authenticate yourself before the PIN change is completed.

Note: You can not change the PIN until the card has been activated. Please note, also, that for security reasons, we cannot change your PIN for you.

We advise that you use a combination that is not easy to guess. Please avoid birthdates, addresses, repeating digits (e.g. 5555), and numerical sequences (e.g. 1234). If the PIN you are attempting to set is too simple, we will prompt you on that during the process.

Once the PIN has successfully been changed, you will need to use it at an ATM for it to sync with your card in a secure environment. Some ATMs also allow you to change your Xapo PIN from their terminal.
