What do I need to get started with Xapo Bank ?

We at Xapo Bank aspire to provide you with undivided attention and a preferential banking experience. Your onboarding must start by filling out your membership application. We will take our time to review your application to then contact you with an invitation link once your onboarding can be initiated.

From the instant you receive your invitation link, you will be able to activate your account through the app. Make sure to have our latest version available downloaded from your device's App Store and have the following ready:

Contact details – a personal email address and mobile phone number.

A valid identity document – for identity verification purposes, we will scan your passport or national ID card so that we can compare it with a short video of you. Follow these guidelines to have a smooth process.

A $1000 deposit¥ – the annual Xapo Bank membership fee is automatically deducted in full when you have a balance of at least USD 1000 or the equivalent in Bitcoin. If your balance is insufficient, your Xapo Bank account will be restricted until you add sufficient funds.

* Currently, we are accepting international passports for most supported countries as a valid form of ID. National ID cards are accepted fore certain jurisdictions.
